The School Counseling Program at Ridgefield High School is comprehensive and developmental in nature as it aligns with the school's mission and core values of encouraging resilience, citizenship, empathy, mindfulness, collaboration, communication and individual growth.

We service our students through classroom lessons (known as seminars), individual meetings and small groups.  The school counselors at RHS are certified professional educators who support students in their journeys through adolescence into young adulthood, assisting them in

In our efforts to support high school students, we also collaborate with classroom teachers, administrators, deans, mental health professionals and parents.

The Counseling Center at RHS is housed in the back area of the main office.  Students are encouraged to make appointments with their school counselors with questions and/or concerns.
